David Maynard Coleman

     David Maynard Coleman, age 72 of Livingston, TN passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

     He was born February 11, 1954 in Knoxville, TN to Minor Coleman and Lerlene (Steakley) Coleman. He was of the Christian faith, and a dispatcher for Livingston Police Department. 

     David was preceded in death by his parents: Minor and Lerlene Coleman; father and mother-in-law: Hivus and Anna Marie Storie; sister-in-law: Alice Storie. 

     David was survived by his wife: Cheryl Lynn (Storie) Coleman; (2) brother-in-laws: Bob Storie, Bill Storie and wife: Bernice. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     Funeral services was held Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM from Speck Funeral Home in Livingston, TN with Bro. Travis Simpson and Chief Ray Smith officiating. The burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Byrdstown, TN. 

     Serving as pallbearers were Jonathan Storie, Josh Storie, Jon Storie, Brayden Storie, Alex Storie, Taylor Storie, Jacob Wright, Eli Wright, Sawyer Storie, Kelvin Beaty and Josh Buck. 

     The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Speck Funeral Home.
